Working with Tiara was such an amazing experience! With this being my first child I had no idea what to expect, but Tiara exceeded anything that I could ever imagine. She was warm spirited, very knowledgeable in her craft, and you could tell that she was beyond passionate about providing the best service not just to me as the mom but to the family as a whole. She was very prompt for meetings, prepared to answer any questions that I had, and she held us accountable for looking into different things that she recommended. She was always a quick phone call or text away. On the day my water broke, she was at the hospital within 2 hours with my birth plan and supplies in hand, and ready to talk with the doctors on my behalf. She was great in keeping me calm and assuring me that all would end up well as things weren’t going the way I wrote my birth plan. My biggest take away from Tiara was her teaching and keeping us informed about all different options, even if they weren’t on my birth plan. I wanted to have a natural birth, but Tiara did her due justice throughout our sessions to discuss the different pain medicines and what a C-section entails. She in no way tried to push these things with me, however, she wanted to make sure I was fully informed of these things should I change my mind, or have no choice but to undergo them. It was good to know what the doctors were talking about around me and be able to make an informed decision. I cannot thank Tiara enough for helping my husband and I welcome our baby girl into the world, and I highly recommend her services!

We discovered I was pregnant in November. I wanted someone who had a customizable service that would address all of my needs. I had to have to some one who fit every part of me, someone who wanted to be a part of us for the long term, someone who demonstrated genuine care. I found that in Tiara!

I absolutely loved working with Tiara of Crowned & Cradled. I was an experienced mom of two but wanted to try breastfeeding with my third. Tiara was there every step of the way answering any and all questions I had during the pregnancy. Most importantly, she was there after, easing concerns, and recommending products and techniques to aid in milk production. There were times when it was hard and I wanted to call it quits, but she was always there to encourage me. I truly appreciate her support and I would recommend any new or experienced mom to lean on Crowned & Cradled for their doula and lactation support needs.

Being a first time mother, I wanted everything to go right when it came to taking care of my newborn. But of course, you have problems. Weather it was my baby not latching on, what to give a newborn with a fever or simply what am I doing wrong that can make the situation right. Your mother may have all the answers but it can be a little over the top than it seems they take over. I wanted to learn, not to be told what to do.
I contacted Tiara because I knew she was not only a good friend but a mother of three. We could relate more which means she would help me and not take over. Her advice and solutions made me more confident as a mother. When I would freak out because my baby developed little whelps or has a high fever, she would calmly assist with the situation and remind me "it’s normal, all babies go through this". I really thank her for being patient with me and just being there for me. Thanks T.

I wanted to personally send a Thank you for helping me get through one of the hardest times I’ve ever had to go through. Having to pump for a child that was premature is no easy task. I was stressed out, sleep deprived. With my son only being able to digest breast milk I knew giving up wasn’t an option.
Well lo and behold Tiara was sent to me. She talked me through every step of the pumping process. She explained to me which cup size I needed, how often to pump, she will even do house visits if you really feel overwhelmed and need the support.
She’s amazing and I couldn’t have had a better person to help me in my time of need.

I contacted Tiara when my newborn stopped nursing on one side. She came to my house the next day! Tiara was very thorough. We discussed not only my baby’s medical history but my own as well. She watched me nurse and then offered suggestions. We got my baby back nursing from both sides! That evening she emailed a summary of our visit and what my goals were. Tiara continues to check on us and offer support. I highly recommend her for lactation consultation.

Tiara is a lifesaver! She provides me with training, advice, and reassurance when my friends and family could not. She always responds in a timely manner and is very thorough. I needed help with positions, pumping; bottle feeding, soothing, etc. Tiara was able to provide me with information for everything! She is always helpful, positive, informative, and encouraging.
